A real person is behind Junihus

Junihus is a small booking site for Sweden's West Coast — Gottskär, Onsala, Åsa, Frillesås, Särö, Fjärås, Vallda. I started it because cottage owners here pay 15.5 percent to Airbnb and around 15 to Booking, often for guests who live ten minutes away.
Here Junihus keeps 10 percent of the booking. The rest goes to the host, and you as a guest pay no service fee at all — the price you see is the price you pay.
The site is new and I am building it while the first hosts join. Something off, or a question about a place? Get in touch — I answer myself.
How it works
- 1. You send a request for a place. Nothing is binding and you pay nothing yet.
- 2. The host replies, usually within a day. If the host says yes, the dates are yours.
- 3. You get a payment link from Junihus and pay by card — never directly to the host. We hold the money until you have checked in.
- 4. Junihus keeps 10 percent and pays the rest to the host. Cancel 30 days or more before arrival and you get everything back, between 30 and 7 days 50 percent.
